Who Are We?

So who is Xigko anyway? Well, we thought we’d take a second and tell you a little something about ourselves.

Barbara House

Barbara is the visionary of the Xigko team. A tenacious problem solver, she has worked relentlessly to become both a PHP,  WordPress and CSS maven. She’s been involved with website programming and internet marketing since 2004, as well as over a decade in the information technology field.  As a owner of multiple directory websites, she is intimately familiar with the software and strategies surrounding the Xigko offerings.

Barbara is a former professional musician who traded in a life on stage for a life behind the scenes in the entertainment industry – although she still hasn’t learned to give up coffee or make time to sleep.  Along with her production and development skills, she has a passion for photography and organic living.  After 25 years in the entertainment industry, Barbara “retired” to pursue our website development & solutions business full time.

Dave Thach

Dave is the hard-core php and database programmer of the Xigko team.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Shortly before starting his Master of Fine Arts graduate degree at UCLA, Dave decided to explore his passion for computers and technology, namely application development. Along what has now amassed to a 16 year career in the information technology field, he has obtained numerous technical certifications around application development, linux, and web-based technologies, such as XML.  Dave is also an award-winning application architect.  In 2001, he was awarded the IBM Solutions Excellence award in the category of “Born on the Web” for his work with an online early childhood education provider in the areas of content management, content distribution, and eCommerce.

Dave currently serves as the Sr. Manager of International Software Development for Sony Computer Entertainment America in Santa Monica, CA, where he is responsible for the localization of over 100 titles a year.  He is also the proud father of two beautiful children.
